I LOVED being able to capture these cozy at home engagement photos for Dylann and Levi. This was the fourth time I was graced with this wonderful force of a woman in front of my lens! Dylann was one of my first boudoir clients, which brought us together just days after she found out she was pregnant with her third babe (who’s now a full-on toddler)! This session was so intimate and unique, and the photos turned out ~immaculate~. Scroll on to see how the rest of the day turned out!

It’s been such an honour to document these two and their growing family, but it was truly so nice to see these two take time away from their babes to celebrate their engagement just the two of them. These two are no strangers to the challenges of raising kiddos, but man oh man do they still shine.

Romantic Moments During D+L’s At Home Engagement Photos

As we eased into shooting in the kitchen, making coffee and chatting, Dylann chuckled and said that they’d need lots of guidance – “HELP US”. Well, let’s just say these two needn’t have worried about being awko taco in front of the camera. Within 5 minutes they were up to their silly shenanigans. I couldn’t stop yelling about how dang cute they are. Seriously, the love these two share is radiant.

D + L ‘s Intimate At Home Engagement Photos

D + L wanted to capture them just the way they are, so a cozy in-home session was a perfect way to document their connection (and meant we didn’t have to check the weather, WIN WIN). They wanted to create a mixture of cozy-cute and steamier art. So, after we’d hung out around the house and they’d gotten nice n comfy with the camera, they excitedly stripped down and wrapped each other up in sheets burrito-style and headed outside for some more creative shots before heading to hang out in the bedroom. I love when a session truly reflects the couple’s love and life together, and allows them to just be natural and silly together.
